Best Luxury and High-End Kitchen Appliances

Our Favorite Luxury Kitchen Brands

So, it’s time for you to build or renovate your dream kitchen.

Yay!

As you know, part of that process includes buying the best, high-end kitchen appliances and cabinets on the market. If you’re willing to doll out the big bucks for such a purchase, make sure you’re getting the most bang for your buck.

Just because something is expensive, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better. Take Dunkin’s coffee, for example. It’s pretty cheap, but it’s hooked just as many customers as any other “gourmet” brand. That said, we’ve got some pricey kitchen brands that actually are worth the investment.
We’ll walk you through some of our favorite luxury kitchen brands, and why we love them so much!

The Popularity of Subzero Appliances

Subzero was the standard for high-end refrigerators.  Today, the luxury appliance company has grown up and added so many more products to its catalogue. These days, Subzero products are synonymous with “smart homes,” as they produce smart refrigerators that allow you to control temperature and ice production, among other features.
Since Subzero acquired Wolf appliances, they do a heck of a lot more than just refrigerators.

If you’re paying for luxury then you expect quality with High-End Subzero Refrigerators. They’re designed to last 20 years, which is nearly double the lifespan of the average refrigerator. If you keep it that long then it’s definitely worth it to pay the extra money.

One of the reasons Subzero has been so popular over the years, in both commercial and residential kitchens, is their commitment to modular designs. Subzero has something that will fit anywhere, whether it’s a double doored fridge, or an under-the-counter bar refrigerator.

Another LGK Favorite! High-End Wolf Stoves and Ranges

The marriage between Subzero and Wolf culminated in the year 2000, and Wolf’s brand is so popular that it’s still around. Wolf stoves and ranges are easy to spot with their red knobs, and for cooking enthusiasts, this is the brand for you.

Wolf stoves and ranges are the perfect pairing for the chef who cooks at home, or the amatuer chef that loves spending time in the kitchen. Wolf stoves and ranges are simply more powerful, and consistent, as their burners heat faster, and their ovens are far more consistent in their heat control than mid-level stoves and ranges.

Subzero and Wolf are considered more “high-end” than “luxury,” as they’re made with commercial quality in mind. That means they rarely break, are meant to sustain a heavy workload, and they hold their value better than almost any other high-end appliance brand.

Our Hidden Gem: Gaggenau Appliances

Gaggenau is a German-based company, and is less popular in the US than Subzero and Wolf. However, people who know luxury kitchen appliances certainly know Gaggenau, as their stainless steel, silver or anthracite appliances are the perfect compliment to any kitchen.

Founded in the 1680s, Gaggenau has been in the business longer than any other luxury kitchen appliance brands, and is ahead of the pack in technology. For example, they’ve had a convection steam oven available for longer than Wolf or other luxury brands.

There are several different Luxury Gaggenau Stoves and Ranges. Each is known for its heat consistency, as their oven’s blue interior enamelling is unique. They also offer touchscreen functionality to the point where you can open an oven door by the press of a button.

More Luxury Appliances by Gaggenau

Gaggenau doesn’t stop at ovens, stoves and ranges, as they have unique sub appliances that are very attractive. For example, Gaggenau sells vacuums, warming drawers, microwaves and espresso machines.

With the exception of the microwave, you won’t find these items in your typical kitchen, and that’s great, because you’re creating your dream kitchen, not a “normal” one!

Warming drawers are excellent for the home chef that cooks for the modern family that’s always on the go. This is an item that’s so uncommon, it’s bound to make any dinner guest warm with envy.

Gaggenau appliances look better than any other appliance on the market, and they offer some very unique models. They do have a functionality learning curve, but once mastered, you’ll be living the good life in the smart kitchen of your dreams.

Why We Fell for Snaidero Cabinets

If you’re going to round out your luxury kitchen with the best products then you must consider Snaidero’s Italian cabinets to go along with your high-end appliances.

Snaidero designs are so beautiful that in 2020 they were awarded the “Good Design Award” from the The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture for the eight time.

Snaidero is most known for its design aesthetics, and to round those looks off Snaidero also sells luxuriousfurniture. Snaidero is a fan of combining modern and contemporary looks in the kitchen with rustic and antique furniture in the dining or adjacent living room. Their designs are hugely popular and timeless.
